Abstract
This study highlights the significant role of GNP in enhancing the
structural and electromagnetic properties of CCHF/GNPs composites.
The maximum crystallite size (56.1 nm) was found for CCHF/3.75 wt%
GNPs composite. SEM analysis revealed improved morphology with
reduced agglomeration with addition of GNPs. The CCHF/5.00 wt%
GNPs composite showed the lowest optical energy band gap (2.84 eV),
and the minimum DC electrical resistivity 2.05×1010 Ω-cm at room
temperature. The CCHF/3.75 wt% GNPs composite had the lowest
activation energy (0.46 eV), the highest dielectric constant (35.17) at low
frequency, and balance magnetic loss tangent (1.306) and dielectric loss
tangent (0.63), making it ideal for microwave absorption devices.
Additionally, its low coercivity value (502 Oe) and remanence (62.5
emu/g) further support its use in microwave absorption applications. These
enhanced characteristics of CCH/3.75 wt% GNPs composite make it best
candidate among all CCHF/GNPs composites for microwave microwave
absorption applications, including stealth technology, electromagnetic
shielding, and wireless communication systems.
